Do you offer same-day appointments? +
Yes, for emergencies: sudden vision changes, eye pain, or foreign-body injuries. Call as early in the day as possible and we will get you in the same day. Learn more about emergency office visits.
How often should I get an eye exam? +
Once a year for most adults. If you have diabetes, glaucoma, or a strong family history of eye disease, we recommend twice yearly.
How long does an exam take? +
A comprehensive eye exam takes about 45 minutes start to finish.
What ages do you see? +
We see patients ages five and up, from first exams through every stage of adult eye care.

Do you accept my insurance? +
We file most major medical and vision plans, including BlueCross BlueShield, VSP, EyeMed, Spectera, Humana, and Community Eye Care Plan. Call ahead and we will verify your coverage. See our insurance and benefits page for details.
How much does an eye exam cost? +
A comprehensive eye exam is $105 without insurance, and most patients with vision insurance pay $0 to $30 out of pocket. Contact lens exams start at $125; with insurance, the contact lens prescription is an additional charge based on your specific plan.

What's included in a comprehensive eye exam? +

Will my eyes be dilated? +
Yes, dilation is part of a complete exam. Your eyes may be light-sensitive for three to four hours afterward, so bring sunglasses.
Can I get a contact lens exam? +
Absolutely. Contact lens exams include a separate fitting and follow-up, and we carry trial pairs of most major brands so you can wear-test before ordering a supply.
Do you fit children for glasses? +
Yes. Both of our doctors see pediatric patients, and we carry frames sized for ages five and up.
