Contact lenses are medical devices. At Jackson Davenport Vision Center, the exam, the trial pairs, and your lens orders can all be handled in one office at 218 Old Trolley Road, so your eye doctor in Summerville and your contact lens supply are in the same place.

Once the fit is confirmed, you can order your lenses through our office.

New wearers are welcome, and we walk you through insertion, removal, and care until you are comfortable.

Before you shop.
Do I need a prescription to buy contact lenses? +
Yes. All contact lenses require a valid prescription. Your contact lens exam includes a short follow-up that confirms the fit and finalizes your prescription before you order a supply.
What does a contact lens exam include? +
It includes everything in a comprehensive exam, plus precise measurements of your eye surface, a fitting, and a follow-up visit to confirm your lenses fit well.
Can I try lenses before I order a supply? +
In most cases, yes. We carry trial pairs of most major brands, so you can wear-test your lenses in daily life before ordering.
How do I reorder my contact lenses? +
You can reorder through our office with a current prescription, and your prescription is yours to fill wherever you choose.
Can I use my vision insurance for contact lenses? +
Bring your plan information when you shop; if we accept your plan and it includes a contact lens benefit, we will apply it. Our insurance and benefits page lists the plans we accept.
